NSS

This College has 02 units of volunteers pertaining to N.S.S. Each unit consists of 100 volunteers. This scheme is being supervised by two Programme Officers—Dr..G.K. Semwal and Dr.C.S.Rana respectively. On significant days such as N.S.S Foundation Day, National Youth day, Environment Day, AIDS Day etc.One day camps are regularly organized with various awareness drives and surveys. Every Year, a ‘seven-days special camp’ is also held in a chosen surrounding area comprising a few socially– backward villages, slums etc. These camps help volunteers learn lessons with regard to dignity of labour ,socio- economic status of the community they live with and other burning issues of the society. Our best volunteers have previously enjoyed the honour to participate in national level awareness programmes and they have received encomiums for their significant contribution and exemplary roles.
