The department of Sanskrit came into existence in year 2017 at undergraduate level. The first batch of students with Sanskrit as a subject were initiated in year 2020. For each academic session 60 inquisitive students with passion towards this ancient language are selected.  Department of Sanskrit is a pioneering department that provides a unique and valuable perspective towards the rich cultural heritage of India. In order to enhance best academic temperament among students lectures through different means are regularly taken in department. Along with the rigorous course curriculum, a variety of extra-curricular activities including class quiz, debates, shloka-recitation are also conducted to foster the overall personality of students.
